career, he took on small copy jobs, like writing a children's menu (complete with games) and creating sales copy for a used
car dealer.
Rob’s freelance writing has been seen in print, in advertising, and on the web. Because of repeated requests by some of his
regular corporate clients to help design brochures, PowerPoint presentations, and websites, Rob started a boutique
marketing company called robco marketing services. robco specializes in working with small business owners to provide an
outsourced marketing solution that feels like an in-house marketing team.
If you have visited thewrittenrob.com before, you may notice a different look and feel. Rob has turned the content of his
freelance writer’s website on its ear. Gone are the sections about fiction, lyrics and screenplays; also gone is the intro
splash page. Gone but not forgotten – some of these sections may come back at a later date in another website.
The section formerly known as ‘The Daily Rob’ has been changed into what it was meant to be – a blog. The only downside
is that all the previous Daily Rob content has been lost, but he is hard at work building up the blog content.
Another large change is the voice that this freelance writer’s site takes when writing the content. When possible, content has
been written to maximize search engine optimization, or SEO.
So to quote the ‘60s band, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, “Welcome back, my friends/to the show that never ends./We're so
glad you could attend!/Come inside! Come inside!"
